Compatible cartridges are manufactured from scratch, they are not used cartridges that have been refilled. They are designed to be 100% compatible with your laser printer. Re-Manufactured cartridges are OEM cartridges that have been dismantled after use. The quality of re-manufactured cartridges vary greatly depending on if care was taken to replace worn parts, or the used cartridge was simply refilled.
